Solely for this reason, the much hated "Magus Killer" Kiritsugu Emiya is hired by the Einzberns, with marriage to their only daughter Irisviel as binding contract.

Kiritsugu now stands at the center of a cutthroat game of survival, facing off against six other participants, each armed with an ancient familiar, and fueled by unique desires and ideals. Accompanied by his own familiar, Saber, the notorious mercenary soon finds his greatest opponent in Kirei Kotomine, a priest who seeks salvation from the emptiness within himself in pursuit of Kiritsugu.

Based on the light novel written by Gen Urobuchi, Fate/Zero depicts the events of the Fourth Holy Grail War—10 years prior to Fate/stay night. Witness a battle royale in which no one is guaranteed to survive.



Note: The first episode aired with a runtime of ~48 minutes as opposed to the standard 24 minute long episode.

A young man named Shirou Emiya, who vowed to protect Sakura, works together with Rin Tohsaka and throws himself into the raging battle to put a stop to the Holy Grail War. Illyasviel von Einzbern, as one of the few who knows the truth behind the conflict, confronts her own fate, while Zouken Matou uses Sakura to try to fulfill his own desires.

Will the young man’s wish reach her even as he challenges fate itself, battling against the rising tide? The Holy Grail War is coming to an end... The final battle is about to begin.

3) The Third Singularity Party
"The Security Organization for the Preservation of Humanity, Fenis Chaldea."
Here, a large number of Servants gather, proudly spending their days under the command of their Master. However, the Servants face a secret problem... They are divided by a sense of inequality. Longer waits between deployment, levels never being raised... Reality hits the Servants hard, and frustrations gradually build up. In order to correct such disparities, one Servant steps up...

4) The Fourth Singularity Party, MAX Bond Channel
"I feel like Master's been more cold to me recently."
Ereshkigal feels some distance building between herself and Master. In order to increase her appeal, Dumuzid suggests something out of the ordinary: to use a video sharing platform called "ServantTube"!

Will Ereshkigal become a famous streamer and grab Master's attention?

In 2026, a new machine called the Augma is developed to compete against the NerveGear and its successor, the Amusphere. A next-gen wearable device, the Augma doesn't have a full-dive function like its predecessors. Instead, it uses Augmented Reality to get players into the game. It is safe, user-friendly and lets users play while they are conscious, making it an instant hit on the market. The most popular game on the system is “Ordinal Scale” (aka: OS), an ARMMORPG developed exclusively for the Augma.

Asuna and the gang have already been playing OS for a while, by the time Kirito decides to join them. They’re about to find out that Ordinal Scale isn’t all fun and games…
