As MLB celebrates games in Japan, baseball has partnered to release a Demon Slayer short film that depicts the evolution of Japanese baseball through the continuous passing of the torch across generations.

Studio Colorido was commissioned by Japanese real estate developer Mitsui Fudosan to create a promotional video for their BE THE CHANGE campaign, in anticipation of the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic and Paralympic games. Initiatives from the campaign include communal sport academies, promotional city dressing, and the FUTSUJANAI TEN interactive sports exhibition. In particular, the campaign supports sport climbing, wheelchair rugby, and women's basketball, the latter of which is featured in the video.

On February 28, ONE PIECE took over Crypto.com Arena for a special game night collab event with the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers ended up taking down their opponents in a close 106-102 game, and maybe some of that juice is thanks to the presence of the Straw Hats and a special piece of animation created for the event.

The anime short—which depicts a Lakers uniform-clad Luffy in an intense basketball match against a team of Marines—can be seen in all its 30 seconds of glory. Can our captain Luffy take home the win?
