This TV Anime depicts Volumes 36-56 (end) of the Inuyasha manga. The story continues from the last moment seen in Inuyasha's original anime. Inuyasha, Kagome, Sango, Miroku and Shippou are now in the definitive quest to beat Naraku and the evil he has created and absorbed, they don't lose hope since their future depends on it, but the path isn't easy nor short so they will go through life threatening situations and must put their friendship and love on the line with wisdom to know who their friends and foes are to succeed.

So now Yusuke must interrupt his summer fun to find Koenma and trade the Golden Seal of King Enma for his life. But if someone other then King Enma has the Golden Seal there will be chaos in the Spirit World! What's a half-dead spirit detective to do?

With the aide of his closest allies, Yusuke sets off for Magma Valley, to save the life of the one who saved his, and find out who's at the bottom of this evil conspiracy.

Now, in order to rescue the girls (and get his hands on that magical water, which could cure his own shape-changing "problem"), Ranma must enter an anything goes martial arts bride-off which includes events such as "survival flower-arranging" and "obstacle-course cooking." Can Ranma (now in "disguise" as a girl) beat scores of other kidnapped concubines, win the contest, rescue Akane and get the magical Togenkyo water... all while wearing a push-up bra and three-inch heels?
