Their ultimate goal is to, under the guidance of Shiranui-hakase, bring Pokemon back to Sakaki. Kenta and Marina stumble upon this plan, and they try to stop it, but things get more difficult when the legendary Pokemon Raikou is captured.

A mysterious organization known as the Knights of Hanoi hacks into LINK VRAINS in search of a runaway AI program, Ignis. One duelist with the username "Playmaker" stands against this threat. His true identity is high school student Yuusaku Fujiki, a skilled hacker with a dark past and a grudge against Hanoi. When he becomes the first to capture Ignis, a struggle between Yuusaku, SOL Technology, and the Knights of Hanoi ensues.

Outside of Japan, these episodes were only dubbed in the West as part of Pokémon Chronicles.



Note: The Japanese version comprised 16 episodes while the U.S. version comprised 22 episodes; this page represents the Japanese version. The 6 additional episodes in the U.S. version were taken from previous movies and specials.
