Cinderella Monogatari

Cinderella is the only daughter of a fairly wealthy family. When her mother dies, his father marries a widow with 2 daughters then goes travelling for business. Cinderella eventually becomes the slave of her stepmother and stepsisters. The Prince on the other hand, lives a boring life in the castle and one day escapes and pretends to be a commoner.Cinderella meets him through an accidental bump and becomes his bestfriend not knowing that he really is the prince. There are other twists to this tale including another villain in the person of the king's right hand who is plotting to take over the throne once he eliminates the prince. After a series of events and stories told, the castle holds a Royal ball for the prince to be able to choose a wife. Every maiden in the kingdom receives an invitation. When Cinderella's cruel stepmother prevents her from attending the Royal Ball, she gets some unexpected help from her pets dog, mice, cat and birds, and from her Fairy Godmother.

Les Misérables: Shoujo Cosette

Being a single mother is hard in early 19th Century France. When she is promised with the prosperity of working in the big city, Cosette is separated from her mother in the hopes a caretaker will watch over her while her mother earns some money. Unfortunately this was a trick and the caretaker is a corrupt man who makes Cosette his indentured servant. Then the kind mayor of the town that Cosette makes her new home in sees how winds of change are so detrimental for children and families, and decides to do something about it.

Grimm Douwa: Kin no Tori

"Kin No Tori" is an adaptation of the homonymous fairy tale "The Golden Bird" by Brothers Grimm.

A golden apple is stolen from the King's garden. The King orders his three sons to guard the apples in turn and to find out who is the thief. When the youngest son, Hansu, presents a feather that he got from the golden bird that stole the apple the king sends his three sons to bring this bird to him and so Hansu journey begins.

Completed in 1984, this film was shelved for three years before being theatrically released.

Later in the series, they set off to find a buried treasure with a map that they obtain from the pirates.

The book fell onto a computer keyboard, giving anybody the ability to see into the past from Sho's home via the monitor. Ruffles, Chris' dog, managed to get lost in time, prompting Zenmaijikake and Sho's cousin Hisashi to search for her. Sho and Azusa kept watch and control of the computer from the present. The older children also had a hard time trying to keep what happened a secret from Sho's parents.
