At the "Village Vanguard", a jazz bar where the Japanese revolutionary students tend to hang out, he meets the young actor and director Takeshi Kitano. Takeshi's big film project: "Unlucky Young Men", a chronicle of a disillusioned Japanese generation – willing to do anything to live out their dreams.
